Hewlett-Packard Building 8
Beaverton, OR
About
This Work
Hewlett-Packard’s Buildings 6 and 8 make up a major production and administrative hub on HP’s Beaverton campus. The development includes a 160,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, a 90,000 sq. ft. three-story office building, and an 80,000 sq. ft. energy center that supplies critical utilities for the entire complex. MEC provided complete electrical engineering services, including construction documents, power distribution design, equipment coordination, and specifications for both high- and low-voltage systems. The project required integrating manufacturing loads, office and administrative power needs, and centralized energy systems to support continuous operations.
