Industrial Manufacturing Facility
BIM Coordination & Electrical Modeling, Portland
About
This Work
This complex industrial manufacturing project required advanced BIM coordination, detailed electrical engineering, and fully modeled construction-ready documentation. MEC Engineering provided complete electrical design support, short-circuit and coordination studies, and highly detailed BIM modeling to support prefabrication and field installation. As MEC’s first major Revit + eVolve project, the team developed new custom content while simultaneously navigating a tightly congested environment with process piping, HVAC, and fire protection systems. Extensive trade coordination ensured accurate routing of major electrical feeds, conflict-free installation, and precise prefabrication packages that saved significant construction time.
