ProMOS Semiconductor Facility

Taiwan

About

This Work

A large-scale greenfield semiconductor manufacturing campus totalling 2,000,000 sq. ft., including a 300,000 sq. ft. Class 1 cleanroom and an extensive central utility building (CUB). MEC provided full high-voltage electrical engineering, including the design of a 161 kV primary substation and the complete 12.47 kV sitewide distribution system. The project required highly reliable power infrastructure, redundancy planning, and integration with advanced cleanroom and process equipment systems.
